National Stationery Show 1

In two nights from right now (midnight), my husband and I should be in NYC at LaGuardia airport waiting to pick up our luggage from the carousel. Aside from the thre carry-ons, we’ll be lugging two large suitcases and an old TV box to the shuttle area to be picked up by a rented car service, Hopefully there will be enough trunk space.

From there, we will head to our hotel in midtown Manhattan, blocks from Times Square and the Empire State Building. I let the hotel know we’ll be getting in after 1:00 am so they won’t give our room away. And I’m hoping that they will notice my birthday on my driver’s license and upgrade us to a bigger room. Since we’re going to be there for 7 nights, it would be nice to have a larger room to move around in and have a place for our clothes — the hotel has tiny closets from what I can tell from online photos. I’ve stalked this hotel in reviews so I feel like I’ve already checked in.

(I just noticed my spacing is different in the first paragraph and I have no clue why,)

Early the next morning, of hopefully comfortable sleep,we will head to breakfast an then to the Javits Center to set up my booth for the National Stationery Show!

To be continued...
